Trip to the Ardmore Airfield

On Saturday morning we took a trip to a local airfield, and sat at a cafe for a couple of hours watching aeroplanes and helicopters take off and land.  It was a beautiful day and a lot of fun.  Some of the aeroplanes were just a stones' throw from us.  We will definitely be going again some time!

This old military aircraft sat in a paddock looking lonely and forlorn!

Something a bit different for Harrison and Aria at the end of the day... a "bucket bath!" Only trouble is, they didn't want to get out!

What a great idea for an outing! We used to walk down to the little airport in Yverdon when we lived there to watch the airplanes but it's been so long ago and David was just little so he probably doesn't even remember. Love the photo of the twins in their bath :-)

Looks like a real fun time - such a pretty spot too! Great idea to have a bath in buckets! How fun - no wonder they didn't want to get out!! :)

I agree - great idea for an outing! Looks like it was a gorgeous day for it. It's fun doing something simple but out of the ordinary like that.
