The first Sunday we took a drive to Proserpine. The main industry is sugar cane here, which was very interesting - just seeing it growing for miles, being harvested, and put onto these special train carriages and carted to the mill.

 

We enjoyed at least a couple of these sorts of seafood/fish and chip style meals!

 

One day we took a day trip on a ferry out to one of the Island resorts, Daydream Island which is set up for families. We had a fun game of Mini-golf. Aria included! ME TOO! Harrison had a nap in the stroller.

 

The kids were SO excited to see wallabies on the beach. They were pretty tame too! They even got to pat one of them!
