On Thursday we headed back to Waiheke
for 4 nights, which as always, was very enjoyable and just what the Dr
ordered! We were fortunate to get warm weather, and only a little rain,
which usually fell over-night, and lots of swimming (or should I say... boogie boarding!)
We decided to do something a bit different and set off on a bush walk one of the days. I think it was supposed to be a 1/2 hour walk, but it took us a whole hour, but a not a bad achievement with little legs.
This photo just proves that when there are a bunch of kids, there is usually
at least one of them that is un-happy (just in case most of the photos portray
otherwise!) :-)
Our happy wee boy in his own little world. He sung the national anthem most of the weekend, to the point where I was nearly sick of it!! :-)
Probably not too much longer that these guys will be able to share their bucket bath!
Dining together:
Playing a game while we waited for the rain to pass. Yes, that is Ro hiding behind the Dora sleeping bag! :-)
We had our very own entertainment provided one night - the animal show!
Aria over the moon with what the Easter bunny brought her... (she got what she'd hoped for.... a BIG Easter egg!)
A favourite spot of the girls to hang out:
Mother duck and her big girls:

Our book worm! If you're never quite sure where this girl is.... she's usually found a nice quiet spot to read her Famous Five book in.
View of 'our' beach (Onetangi beach) - one end of it... pic taken as we left on Monday afternoon.
Goodbye Waiheke, looking forward to more holidays next year! xx ...
....and only 2 weeks til we visit Nonna and Pa in VIC... now for the packing!

Beautiful photos and so nice to see some of you Chelle! I understand why you keep going back to the same place it looks like the perfect retreat. A good place to let loose, relax and rest.
Looks like you had a lovely weekend. Had to smile at the photo of Pip engrossed in her Secret Seven book. I would have been doing exactly the same at the same age. I'm looking forward to Danielle getting into those books. :) Like the picture of you and Pip & Heidi. Lovely top you're wearing.
Oops - meant to say Famous Five book. :)
What a fantastic get-a-way spot! So beautiful and what terrific memories you'll have! Like your top too - such a pretty photo of you and the girls!
